![]() Holster not included. |
Use any holster (sold separately) that has either a belt loop or clip. We recommend an ambidextrous holster so that you can face your firearm any direction you want. If your holster is not ambidextrous, then you will need a left handed
holster to face the butt end of the gun right, or a right handed holster to face the butt end of the gun left.
Open both the wide upper Velcro loop and the lower Velcro loop that is smaller in width. |
|||
Pull the WIDE Velcro strip through the inside of the belt loop or clip of the holster as far as it will go. The wide Velcro loop is at the TOP of the mount. The small Velcro loop is at the BOTTOM and should not be used here. The wide Velcro strip can also be detached from the main part of the mount so that you can slightly adjust it vertically.
Pull with tension and wrap the wide strip, along with the holster, around the front of the main mounting strap.
Velcro the end of the wide strip to backside of mounting strap. The holster should now be snug on the mounting strap. This is what it should look like once the holster is attached.
The mount is now ready to position in your vehicle. Place the hook that is now above and behind your holster into the gap below your steering wheel column.
Place the bottom hook so it grabs onto the lower dash panel or somewhere in this area where it will allow you to tighten firmly.
Pull the strap hard to tighten. You may need to gently lift up on the large buckle a little to allow the strap to slide. The strap material is heavy duty and is designed to not give easily. Continue to pull until mount is secure and tight. Now check and see if the mount is secure to your liking. Some very slight movement is fine, but you can remove the mount and use the adhesive hook strips to help reduce any horizontal movement if you want.
Once in place, you can either tuck any excess strap material behind the holster or dash, or you can cut it off with a pair of scissors or knife. We recommend leaving the excess if you plan on using the mount in another vehicle, because the dash length may vary. If you decide to cut, you will want to seal the cut end using a match or lighter to prevent fraying.
You can now loosely attach the lower Velcro loop strip around your holster. This small strip can be adjusted vertically on the back to where you want it, by simply pulling it off and putting it back on. You have a lot of vertical room to play with here depending on your holster length. You want to loosely attach for now, until you holster your firearm. Making it tight may make it more difficult to holster the firearm. |
||||
Your holster is now fully mounted and is ready to safely accept a firearm. Once you place your firearm in the holster, go back and tighten the lower Velcro strip so it snugly fits around your holster. This will help reduce holster bounce or side-to-side holster movement while driving off-road. To release the mount, simply reach under the enclosed metal support bar and lift up on the large buckle. |
